She can be a little cautious when meeting new people, but she quickly opens up to kind and patient people once she feels safe. She is curious and will happily come up to people, especially once she knows she can trust them. Once Sunny gets to know you, she is a very happy and playful girl who loves being close to the people she trusts. She absolutely loves cuddles and enjoys plenty of affection and attention. She also has a fun, goofy side and loves to play, so there is never a dull moment with Sunny! Sunny gets along very well with other dogs and enjoys their company. She is also wonderful with children of all ages and has a lovely, gentle nature. She enjoys going for walks and is very well behaved when visiting the vets too, making her a lovely companion both at home and out and about. Sunny has shown some interest in chasing cats, so we feel she would be happiest in a home without cats. She may need a little patience when she first meets her new family, but it won't take long for Sunny's happy personality to shine through. Once she feels comfortable, she will reward her people with plenty of cuddles, playtime and endless affection ❤️ 📖 Sunny’s Story 📖 Sunny was one of eight dogs who urgently needed our help after the land they had been living on was sold, leaving them with nowhere to go. They had until May 2026 before they would have faced being returned to the streets or sent to a pound. Thankfully, space was secured for all eight dogs at the pansion and they were moved to safety in May 2026. When they first arrived, the dogs were extremely frightened and it was clear that they had experienced something difficult before coming into our care. It took time for them to relax and become comfortable around people again. Sunny has made wonderful progress since then. While she can still be a little shy when meeting someone new, she doesn't need much time before her happy and playful personality comes through. She is now settled, enjoys her walks, absolutely loves cuddles and is ready to find a family of her own. Sunny is simply a lovely, affectionate girl who wants to feel safe and loved.
