Pet Story

Meet Ty ❤️ Staffy Mix | Estimated 6–8 Years Old | Will Be Neutered & Fully Vaccinated Before Adoption | Cannot Be Rehomed in London Don’t let Ty’s age fool you! At an estimated 6–8 years old, this spritely boy still has plenty of character and a lovely personality. Ty came into rescue from the pound after serving his seven-day stay, sadly finding himself at risk of euthanasia. We believe he’s had a difficult start to life, but thankfully, he’s now safe with us and looking for a special home where he can finally enjoy the comfort, security and love he deserves. 🏡 The Home Ty Needs Ty is searching for a calm, understanding home where he can enjoy life at his own pace, surrounded by people who appreciate him for who he is. He really isn’t asking for much. A little potter around the garden, a pleasant walk, a comfy sofa to snooze on and someone willing to share the occasional slice of ham would make this boy very happy! Ty can take a little time to build trust, but once you’re part of his inner circle, you’ll discover just how affectionate he can be. When he feels safe and comfortable, he loves spending time with his favourite people and will happily join you on the sofa for some fuss and cuddles. Ty cannot live with young children due to his size and his preference for a quieter environment. We would consider a home with older, dog-savvy children, although an adult-only household may be the best fit. Please note: Ty cannot be rehomed within London. 🐾 Other Dogs & Animals Although Ty previously lived alongside a female dog for much of his life, we believe he would be happiest as the only dog in his new home. He isn’t particularly comfortable around male dogs and appreciates having his own space, so we feel a single-dog household would give him the peaceful environment he needs to feel settled and secure. Ty also has a prey drive, meaning he cannot live with cats. 🚶 Walks, Training & Home Life Ty enjoys his walks and walks nicely on the lead. He doesn’t need a hectic lifestyle or endless adventures — a nice stroll followed by a relaxing afternoon at home would suit him perfectly. He is both muzzle-trained and crate-trained, and his crate is an important safe space where he can switch off, relax and enjoy some quiet time. His new family will need to continue using his crate positively and ensure he always has somewhere peaceful to retreat to whenever he needs a little space of his own. 💛 Ty’s Personality Ty is a fun-loving, affectionate older boy who deserves the chance to experience what it feels like to truly belong. Once he trusts you, he forms a lovely bond with his people and is happiest enjoying the simple things in life. He doesn’t need a busy household or an action-packed routine. He needs someone who understands him, respects his boundaries and wants to give him the comfortable, secure life he may have missed out on before. And if you happen to have a slice of ham handy, you might just win your way into his heart that little bit quicker! After everything Ty has been through, we’re determined to find him a home where he can finally put his past behind him. A place where he can enjoy his garden potters, look forward to his walks, curl up on the sofa and, most importantly, know he is safe, loved and home for good. Could you be the one to give Ty his happy ever after? If you can offer this lovely boy the calm, loving and understanding forever home he deserves, we’d love to hear from you. Please apply now.
