Pet Story

Jades story with us starts back in Turkey where she used to be part of our street feed routine. One day all the shelter dogs kept barking because Jade just wouldn’t stop pacing outside the shelter, so we went to check what was up with her. She made us follow all the way to her injured son Ace who had a dislocated hip, in need of medical attention. Smart cookie that she is Jade knew where to go for help and to bring it to his injured son. We of course got him the necessary treatment and both of them stayed living right outside the shelter ever since. When our shelter relocated to Italy we obviously had to take both of them with us. Jade adapted to the move easily. At the moment she lives in an enclosure together with her son Ace but she has also spent time periods living inside the house, sharing a bedroom with volunteers. Jade therefore knows the ins and outs of what it means to live indoors together with humans and she is fully house-trained. Jade goes on walks regularly. However, she does not always fully enjoy them. She walks nicely on the leash but occasionally loses interest in the walk, preferring to take a cuddle-break instead. Therefore we are looking for a home with a garden for Jade, for those times when a walk doesn't sound too fun. Jade is fine with strangers and enjoys meeting new people. Seeing other dogs out in the world and hanging out with them is not a problem for her. However, Jade would prefer the peace and quiet that comes with being the only dog in a home. If you are interested in Jade but already have dogs in your home we won't outright say no but it would require a more detailed chat. Overall Jade is a chill girl just looking for a family where she can get all the cuddles and human attention she likes.
