Originally rescued from Greece, 2 year-old Collie/Shepherd X Molly is now in foster in Cardiff and available for meets. Supremely pretty and brilliantly intuitive, Molly has the looks and the brains to win hearts and minds. Molly is fabulous with other dogs and affectionate with people in outdoor spaces. She has excellent recall and her healthy hunting instinct is being positively trained and shaped by her fosterers. Whilst playful and curious on walks, Molly has mastered the art of a good, relaxing cuddle at home. Stroking her silky soft fur is the best stress reliever. Although initially cautious in love, when Molly falls, it’s truly, madly, deeply, forming a special bond with her humans. As a livestock guardian cross, Molly’s instincts are to protect her own which translates in to some mild guarding and a mistrust of new people in enclosed spaces. For this reason Molly is not suitable to live with children and any introductions to visiting children will need to be carefully managed. Her ideal home would be a calm space, potentially with a confident, optimistic canine companion, where visitors are prepared to give Molly time to trust. If this happens, Molly will welcome them with open paws and eternal adoration. Molly is healthy, fully vaccinated, spayed, crate and muzzle trained. You may have previously seen Molly advertised with her brother Sirius as needing to be adopted together. We would still consider a very special, breed experienced, quiet, rural home for the two of them. However, as they are growing older, it is becoming increasingly apparent that each dog’s needs are different and that Molly and Sirius can also live apart. Advertising them singly promises the best outcome for both.
