Pet Story

*Please Note - All Whispaws dogs listed on Pet Database are in Serbia and are transported to the UK after adoption is agreed - further information below* 👉🏻 Meet Zucha, a lovely senior boy with a gentle nature who is looking a warm and loving home. ⚧️ Sex: Male 🎂 Age: Approx. 10 years old 🦴 Breed: Mixed 📏 Size: Small - Medium 🐱 Cat friendly: No 🐕 Dog friendly: Yes, prefers calm dogs 👶 Child friendly: Yes ⚡ Energy level: Low - Moderate 🏡 Ideal home: A calm and loving family home with people who can give Zucha the time to settle, plenty of affection and a peaceful environment. 🐾 Personality & Temperament 🐾 Zucha is an incredibly gentle, sweet and peaceful boy. He has a lovely nature and enjoys spending time with people, receiving cuddles and simply relaxing somewhere comfortable. He is happiest when life is calm and doesn't enjoy lots of noise, shouting or commotion around him. When meeting new people, Zucha can be a little shy and cautious at first. He may need some time to feel comfortable and build trust, but once he gets to know you, he is such a loving and loyal companion. He is a gentle boy who responds best to patience and kindness. Zucha enjoys his walks and loves getting out to explore his surroundings. He also gets along very well with other dogs, although he prefers to have his own space and doesn't enjoy being jumped on or bothered by overly energetic dogs. He is good with children but would be happiest in a home where everyone understands his gentle nature and gives him space when he needs it. Zucha has such a lovely, wise face, with an expression that seems to tell a thousand stories. He's a sweet old soul who deserves a comfortable home, plenty of love and someone to enjoy his quieter days with. 📖 Zucha’s Story 📖 Zucha was living on somebody’s land that has since been sold from beneath him – leaving him and multiple other dogs abandoned with nowhere to go. Thankfully, space was secured for the dogs at the pansion and they were moved to safety in May 2026, where Nera is now ready to find her forever home. When Zucha first arrived at the pansion, he was frightened and unsure of his surroundings. With time and patience, he has become much more at ease. He can still be a little timid when meeting unfamiliar people, but with those he trusts, his gentle, loving nature shines. He has known very little of what it means to have a home of his own, and after so many years without a family, he deserves the chance to experience that special kind of love. At around 10 years old, Zucha deserves a warm bed, peaceful days, lovely little walks and a kind family.
